Hello,
I've really been looking for information on this jardiniere. It was a wedding gift to my great great grandparents, who were married in 1901. The only mark I could find on it is in the hole on the base--a small visible label that says "The" in a very ornate handwriting....but that's it. I have looked and can't find anymore marks.

Here is a pic of one like yours. In the post it is identified as R.R. P co. I am not 100% convinced since all of the R.R. P I have seen is marked. Is it possible the label is newspaper stuck in the planter to cover the hole? Mccoy made jardinieres in similar glazes.( see onyx glaze for the pedestal) It is possible the two pieces are from different companies. Weller was also making some stuff with similar glaze and style. Let me work on it a bit. I absolutely Love it!!!
